I managed to get a 55" Samsung TV in the back with the hatch closed, 58" TV was about 3" too long. So I think the X1 is a great size. If you need something to do Home Depot runs and carry drywall or whatever, buy a truck. Nobody's ever complained about rear seat space in my car either. Except my friend who is 6'4". He complains about rear space in everything.
