Lease Buyout
My lease is up in August and I started to talk to the local BMW dealers in April about buying out the lease. I really love my 2015 X1 28i xdrive Msport, ultimate package Black/coral red.
My residual was 29k and the dealer offered 27k but that still seems about 5k too high to me.
After a nationwide search for a car just like mine or similarly optioned 35i with low miles turned up 1 car with an unscrupulous dealer, I decided to buy out the lease. The dealer actually came down a few thousand more and I negotiated in some extra's like the black kidney grill, tires ect. Yay! I get to keep my car.
