Hi everyone, I am attempting to install dashcams onto my car and my partner's x1.
I picked up the Blackvue DR500W for the X1 but she doesn't want it to be hard wired.
I considered using the 12v socket on the centre console but it looks to be too visible. So I am looking at running the cable to the rear and plugging it into the socket located in the boot. Unless there is a hidden socket elsewhere like under the glove box?? Anyway running the wire to the rear seems easy enough. My concern is with the auto stop start function.
So I was wondering whether X1 owners here have experience in installing dashcam and whether the dash cam will turn on and off with auto stop start. Any other advices?
