The other day, I backed out of a parking spot and went to go forward, felt like it barely wanted to move. Car was stuck in 3rd gear. I then got a trans fault message and it went into failsafe (always 4th gear, limited throttle) then when I parked and restarted everything was back to normal. However, I notice when starting up, if thrown into drive right away youll see it go d3, d2, and finally d1. Is this something Ive never noticed or does the car default to a non gear (or a higher gear) when park is engaged? Make sense? odd right.. (Btw this is the 6AT not 8 )
