My 23d is on 10.1L/100Km's on average.
(I was on 10.9 for a long time before I did the engine tuning and had my lighter rims.)
AWD takes extra consumption and it eats power. I do many short distances and when the engine is nicely driven warm I do have a heavy foot and drive sporty.
On freeway I do 130-140KM/H most of the time when driving calm.
I like my comfort so I use my AC (or open sunroof) or heated seats when I think it is needed.
Same counts for the "S" position on the AT. (Crazy, when foot down in S, she goos to 6th gear around 180Km/H, when you hear and feel the shift it say's "you lost your drivers license a couple of seconds ago")
