The door may be shut but the sensor does not think so. As such, check the sensors and see if they are properly aligned. Could be one is broken. Given you just picked it up I would not spend much time on it rather take it back to the dealer and let them figure it out as it could also be elsewhere in the electronics. That is what they get paid for and what you paid for.
