i just started using manual shift full time cause i couldn't take it anymore. Much more predictable and fun to drive.
This also gets rid of a lot of the hesitation and then explosion when pulling out of traffic to switch lanes. And it stops the frequent and annoying double up shifting when you hit the gas while in motion. Try it.
