You won't get 30k out of PSS's. I got about 24k out of PS2's and about 30k out of PSS's on my M Coupe, but that was a much lighter car. I'd guess 25k or so out of most of top notch summer tires would be about best case for an X1.
However, if you're going non staggered, take advantage of the PSS warranty claim of 30k miles. It's only 15k if you're staggered.
