Four cylinder Porsches. Hmmm ... 356, 550, 912, 914, 924, 944, 968 ...
While the 356 was a legendary Porsche, and the 550 a unique model, none of the others were necessarily outstanding as Porsches go. As such, I believe the Boxster and Cayman will be looked at in a similar light. So, a four cylinder engine will not necessarily destroy their pedigree.
