I hate hearing stories of poor service from BMW centers. Call the center's customer service manager as well as BMW corporate and complain. This actually carries a lot of weight. They get dinged if the customer doesn't rate the experience 10/10.
I've had nothing but positive experiences but I also have over 10 dealers in a 25 mile radius so I can always go somewhere else if I am dissatisfied. There is something to be said for competition.
