I know people hate on run flats, and I'm buying Michelin PSS next time, but the Summer Performance Pirelli P7's are phenominal.

They gripped on a wet freezing day of 30 deg F just before the pavement froze while other people had death grip on steering.

They gripped in Germany last June during deluge on autobahn at high speed.

They also grip very well dry as well as long wearing; I think I can get 30k miles.

You are right! They feel smooth and quiet on good roads.
