"The price they are asking is laughable", its the cheapest BMW and have you looked at the base of the new 428 at $46k now that is laughable. The guys with X drive are so jealous when the S drive blow by them so they have to resort to the hydraulic steering argument. Caddy ATS has electric steering with much better feel than 3 series actually best in class and besides other BMW's have electric so why do you drive BMW's if the brand sucks so bad with electric steering. I don't get the whole electric steering vs hydraulic argument since I drive a E93 and don't feel much difference and yes my 335 will beat your X1 35's 0-60. If I wanted X drive I would have bought X drive. I prefer lighter and better handling, faster S drive.
