This post is funny. Why do people compare apples to jet engines? People buy the X1 for many different reasons than people buy M3/5/6.
20 mpg tells me it's a loaner and people are beating the snot out of it. I drive my 28i from Calgary to Vancouver and back and averaged 27.6 mpg. That's with less than 300 kms start point.
The auto start/stop is off on mine. I don't even have to push the button, It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
And lastly, my sports seats with leather are quite comfortable. Maybe not the best ever, but I paid $50K, not $125K.
