Sorry, it seems I got confused. I didn't realize that ND40oz was the one who made this comment to begin with:
"Plus, if you're going to go with an sDrive, you might as well just buy an F20 1er. "
So I both failed to recognize you as the OP he referred to in his latter comment and also failed to realize that I was actually replying to the very person who's comment I thought was misguided to begin with.
So, in short, your initial comment was not UK-specific, but his reply went OT for the thread. It was still valid commentary for you and he, but was not relevant for anyone in the US.
