Wow are you really getting better econ with the X5 35d? I hear you though I found the same with the 28 and the Q5 2.0 8s. Tranny is constantly trying, fighting really, to upshift and with 8 gears paddles or not it makes downshifting rather tedious and you will be downshifting or hammering the pedal to downshift, alot. That said I'm happy that everyone seems to be anointing the 8 speed as king and buying up 28s to get it. That's where I come in and snap up a 35 with the POS 6s that no one wants.
Unless they get it together and give me a 20d to sample (will it be enough)?? 23d I wouldn't be as concerned.
