After readings the OP my first thought was the steering did not get heavier when in sport mode! So I put my '14 X1 28i with EPS to the test! Drove around in D for about 5 mins to get the feel and then drove in DS for about 5 mins and then went back to D for a min and realized that the steering does get heavier when in DS. Thanks Dan
