I don't think it affected the game a bit. *But* it was a stupid thing to do nonetheless. Why bring that grief upon yourself when you know all things being equal the Pats were most likely going to win anyway? Now the Ravens are claiming the balls could have been under-inflated for that matchup as well. The Pats' victory is tarnished and if they win the Super Bowl, that will be tarnished as well.

That said, the difference in the feel of the football must have been really insignificant if none of the officials on the field noticed it during the game. They handle footballs all the time and should know what one should feel like when it's not inflated properly.

Also, the questionable footballs were removed at halftime. The game really got out of hand for the Colts in the second half, so again, the benefit of the under-inflation was minimal at best.
