So... I've been duped. Rather odd situation. Let me know your honest opinion.
Guy told me they were from a 2013 7 series. I picked them up, was very satisfied. Got home and noticed that there was a small dangling tag hanging from one of the spokes. It read "2010 BMW B7 Alpina." That set me off because it wasn't year 2013 as he told me. I looked up the Alpina and found that it has a slightly more aggressive offset than a standard 7 series.
This prompted me to measure the offset. Damnit. It wasn't ET35 as I was told. It was ET15. Square setup. 19x8.5 with a 15mm offset. So. What do I do now? I'm guessing that's way too aggressive for our cars, especially since I plan to lower it on H&R's/Billsteins this Summer.
Do I just relist them on Craigslist or ebay or do I try to give them a shot. The problem is that there are no tires on the rims, so I can't even throw them on to check fitment with the car sitting on the ground.
