So to throw this out, the N55 is putting 270hp/280tq at the wheels and the n20 is putting out 238hp/261tq at the wheels (
n20 dyno). How is it then that the N55 0-60 is .9 seconds faster in 0-60? CIWS is getting the bmw claimed 0-60 of 5.3 so we know that side is accurate, but I haven't seen 0-60 times of N20's to know if they are at 6.2s or not.
If the N20 is doing 6.2s at best, I can't see 32hp/19tq making up this .9s even with the ZF 8HP requiring an additional gear change. Is it an average hp or torque that makes the difference?
Just trying to understand the 0-60 difference between the two if hp/tq don't seem to explain why.
