To compare with a nicely equipped x1, you'd need to option your SQ5 up to $58k at the least, fyi. Pet peeve of mine is when people compare car's prices but at wildly different option levels.
Also, enjoy that 23mpg on highway. No, I mean, literally enjoy it, that 3.0 TSI is niiiiiiiice. Though you'll need it, carting around 700 more pounds of weight.
