It will drive very much like your car and not much like a Jetta. The X1 is based on the E90 chassis, so it's going to drive just about the same as an xDrive E91 wagon, but a bit taller. If she wants a tall Jetta, the Tiguan is pretty nice, albeit slow and thirsty.
