Bottom line, it's not an M factory car. It came from the factory as an X1 and through the miracle of badging, it's wearing a M badge. And whether you buy various M components and add it to the car, it's still an X1 with modified components but not an M factory car.
I have no idea why people do this... be proud of the version you bought
