About a year ago, bought a portable 2 post lift called a MaxJax by Danmar. Supposed to be a BendPak design built in China. Individual posts that bolt to the concrete floor, 6000 lb capacity. Was a little skeptical, but so far has been just a fantastic tool. A little pricier at around $2000, but its a real hydraulic lift. Made for lower ceilings, it only raises about 4 ft, but can easily work on roller stools underneath.
