I think the biggest issue is ceiling height. My dad wanted to get a lift to double his parking spaces. He had 5 Corvettes and a 2 car garage. Ultimately his ceiling was too low to allow 2 stacked cars. I would call the manufacturer and see what their recommended minimum height is.
