Yes, I agree with 2Bims. You have to reset computer before a new trip. Other wise, the mpg displayed on computer is inaccurate. I got my X1 xDrive28i a week ago and have driven about 100 mile since then, mostly highway driving. The iDrive computer shows about 21 mpg on average. I do not believe the number, because the cluster gauge (Current fuel consumption) often displays 35 mpg, if I keep 60 - 70 mph. I did a test for highway fuel consumption. Before going to highway, I reset the computer trip. I did 30 miles highway driving without Eco Pro, keeping speed at 60-70 mph. I got 27.8 mpg on iDrive computer. I am satisfied with the result. After the car is break in, I am confident that I can achieve 30+ (if not 33 per EPA) mpg.
