In Aus too, the fuel effienciency difference between sDrive18i and s/xDrive20d allows deduction of the luxury car tax and potentially 30% saving on accessories too, so I think the s/xDrive20d are the best value for money, if that's what you are after.

Yep, and in Oz I would think fuel efficiency would be important as the distances are huge. 70% of my driving is in the city and the rest is all over Scotland. I drive almost daily but still hardly do more than 5000 miles per year. Fuel consumption therefore is not too important to me, now torque for going up mountains.....O, who am I fooling, hills really....
