That's actually not true, ALL tunes will throw tuner codes. They just wont light up a SES light. If that happens, something is wrong. But every single tune out there will trigger tuner codes such as MAF plausibility, etc.
JB4 and Cobb simply autodelete if you have them enabled, but not sure on how the lower end tunes handle it. But the bottom line is that if you're raising boost, shadow codes will be thrown.
The correct statement is that the tunes do not light up a SES or throw codes that they cannot delete. As long as you use the tunes or a code reader to clear the shadow tuner codes, you're 100% fine.
