355 is a good looking wheel, show us picture once you put them up!
After 10k mile the tires no longer rubbing. I bet 245/40 would be totally fine. The only issue with the wider rubber is dropping in mpg. I am doing 27 mpg (4% speed different factored in ) compare to 28.5 mpg before.
