No, converted from 4.5 l/100km, which is equal to roughly 52 mpg (US) and 63 mpg (Imperial).
That's the sDrive 20d EfficientDrive version, though, and I doubt you could get the EfficientDrive to run with the crap grade diesel fuels sold over here.
The standard sDrive 20d is less frugal at 4.9 l/100km combined, or 48 mpg (US).
And the xDrive 20d is still worse at 5.5 l/100km combined, or 43 mpg (US)
