Kaep is a Tier 3/Tier 4 QB. 49ers need to get over the hype and acquire a real quarterback immediately. He lacks the ability to read progressions which makes him very predictable. Simply put, scramble right > wild throw -- scramble left > run. We need a QB that knows how to stay in the pocket, as displayed by his last 3 opponents (Ryan, Newton, Wilson).
His success last year was due to lack of game film. Now, most teams have him figured out which isn't hard to begin with.

None of them have gotten as far into the playoffs as Kaep has in the same amount of time. As far as a lack of game film, the same argument can be used for any qb in their first year. It's too early to make judgement on kaep. Let's not forget Rodgers sat behind Favre for a few years before he started. He was learning that entire time.
