That's definitely not needed with the Comfort Access system. In fact, the manual warns you that the key should
not be inserted except in special situations when having Comfort Access.
Just make sure that "Settings" -> "Door Locks" -> "Last Seat Position" is checked (it should be by default), and it will always reset the seat and mirrors to the last used position for that key.
