Another data point. My sDrive has a shade under 3K miles on it. I had to take a freeway trip yesterday. I reset the trip computer and set off. Driving conservatively without EcoPro but with ASS (which only helped at the lights on the way to the freeway) I managed to get 33.1 MPG according to the computer.
The only downside is that driving that way was a major bore. A beat up looking early 90's Civic passed me for example.
If you drive it like a Prius you can hit the EPA numbers. If you drive it like a BMW you'll be way off but probably enjoy yourself much more. I drove aggressively coming back and by the time I got home I'd pushed the MPG down to 22. But I came back mostly surface streets because the freeway going the other way backup up due to an accident.
