I think part of the reason for this is that the Chicagoland BMW dealers I contacted at the end of the year were treating the new X1's coming in as if they were limited edition vehicles ie. no discounting at all. Lease residual of the 2016 was 1% less
than the 2015 which makes no sense. I am sure their sales will increase once they become more aggressive with pricing. 2105 X1's had pretty much disappeared by end of year.
