From reading the carzines, I can't figure if BMW has indeed lost their way, or if it is now cool to pan anything BMW, having praised them for so many years.
For what it's worth, I love my X1 for its handling, power, and (to some degree) practicality.
I just love driving the damned thing.

true, Car & Driver did not like the long term X1 xdrive28i Msport, but they loved the 35i Sport line. I believe they like the Sportline edition because it did not have the stiffness and harsh impact of MSport suspension on less than perfect pavement...and it wasn't just do to RF tires.
