When I competed in my car audio competitions in the late 90's Focal had just gotten into the car audio bug. They made a 6 and a half inch subwoofer that was pretty good for that time. I agree with you, they are a GREAT speaker and that they make a direct fit for our car, makes it all the more attractive.
