If properly repaired, you have nothing to worry about. Usually, shops not equipped to repair run-flats won't touch them. I've had them repaired at America's Tire without further issues.
The BMW dealers here don't repair runflats. They try and sell you the tire and wheel warranty plan up front then punish you if you don't get it by selling you new tires at inflated prices if anything goes wrong.
