Hi All
my dad has a 2010 BMW x1 (E84) that came with the "motion" NAV and the smaller 6.5" screen.

he wanted to change the screen to the larget 8.8" screen (he didnt want the 10.25" android screen and wanted to keep OEM.

We purchased the screen from ebay its advertised as X1 E84 p/m 9231322

we installed the new screen fine. the plugs were the same. the ebay seller said no coding required but I did think the screen may need coding.

when installed and starting the car the screen gave a horizontal double image, so i figured coding required, i got a Vgate bluetooth 4.0 OBDII plug and paid £50 for bimmercode on the appstore,

from google search there were 2 codes to change


3000 HMI * DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 8.8_1280x480
3001 EXBOX * DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display


the 3001 code i found and changed fine, however i searched everywhere and 300 for display size resolution is no there as an option .

what can i do now ????
