It's funny but I think if the F48 was introduced by another brand (Mercedes?) It would have been loved by the market. But being a BMW and having that expectation of being a driver's vehicle it is just too controversial.
I'm sure it will do fine but I really hope it doesn't. People who want luxury and don't care about the driving experience can always go for a Mercedes or Lexus. But it seems with the new F48 there is now no vehicle to take the spot where the E84 was - a compact luxury sports sedan at a $40K price range.
