Can't think of any real advantage to the N55 since it's saddled with the old school 6s, instead of the 8s of the 28i. I'd think real world acceleration differences will be minimal and mileage should favor the 2.0t heavily. My wife's 135i generally gets 16mpg in the city, I'm hoping an X1 28i would beat that handily, but of course would prefer the oil burner.
