I personally don't think the current x1 is ugly at all, especially with msport package - i think it actually looks nicer than the new x1 (based on renderings).
The new x1 looks like a Mazda CX-5 to me. And it's not ugly neither, its just a typical/generic design that you see on road everyday IMO.
