If BMW would have offered the 35i in RWD that's what we would have ordered. As it is the 28i has plenty of power. It's obviously not as fast as my 135i but it's more than enough for cruising on the Autobahn.
I'm torn about the RFTs. On one hand they really do ride harsh and they're expensive to replace, but on the other it's nice knowing my wife will never be completely stranded by a flat.
