It's in the manual, but doesn't really make much sense in there. From memory... push in the end of the left hand lever (not the cruise control one) and scoll through fuel consumption, distance to empty, etc until the space is blank. Then push and hold in the button until the gear indicator comes up. I'm pretty sure that's how you do it.

If that doesn't work then before you do it you might need to put the car in gear, keep your foot off the clutch if manual then press the start button. The car shouldn't start, but will just bing away. Then do the above.

I switched mine off on Day 1. It makes you drive like a nanny if you pay any attention to it. Really irritating.
