We've put 40K on an A4 with no complaints; it is the deal in our Westsylvania winters.
Now if all locked up is what you really want, I've a TJ Rubicon as a fall back....
Frankly, I would have jumped on an A3, but Audi saw fit to turn it into a sedan rather than a 5-door.
