What does your transfer case have to do with engine tuning? By federal law,(US) your car must be repaired, within warranty limits, anything that breaks, that affects emissions, and any modification that doesn't affect the actual part that breaks will not cancel the warranty. Now, individual dealerships may vary a great deal. They may choose to attempt to deny coverage, but this' true of many dealerships.
