They seemed to be in good shape, although the blue loctite on them was starting to wear.
(also, one of my rotors was missing a set screw. Thankfully those set screws I kept from the E36 are the same!)

I would definitely replace them. Do not cut corners with brake systems! At very least, re-apply some loctite.
