Ok, I had my first refill: 50 ltr for 295 km. For our US friends: that is 13.9 mpg. Ouch.
Admitted: this is real city driving in a brand new 28i. Traffic lights at every block. Avg speed 15 mph. And we have no flat terrain here either. However I tried to drive with a very light foot. Seems like it makes no difference.
Just researched EPA city cycle, which they say represents urban driving.
Fuel Economy Test Schedules Can someone explain me the 60 mph in the beginning and end of the cycle? What are they simulating?
Don't know what is typical in USA, but here in Canadian cities the max speed is 50 km/h (31 mph). In rush hour no way you can get to this speed.
