Without tech package, the screen becomes a small storage, and the iDrive control becomes a hole to hold coins. They look no good. With tech package, they make the interior look more luxury. Even you do not use the navigator and iDrive, the luxury looking itself is worth $500. The ultimate is a combo package. You get the Drive Assistance package almost for free ($200). The Drive Assistance package is worth $950 as standalone package. So, go to get the ultimate package.
