I have a 2013 xdrive 28i. When my car sits in the cold for a while, I hear a thumping noise coming from the front left, as well. I hear mine as I first drive off, at slow speed. It only lasts a few seconds and doesn't come back until my car has been sitting for a while. Dealer said they couldn't duplicate it.
