I bought my 2013 28i sDrive just after Thanksgiving 2012. So it's coming up on end of warranty in a few months. Mileage is just below 48,000.

A couple months ago I checked the iDrive Service Required list and it said front brakes (or rear? Think it was front) would need to be done in 2300 miles. I was at about 45,000 at that point. Took a long trip up to SF area from home in LA. About 800+ miles round trip. Checked again - and it had gone from service in 2300 miles to....2400!

It's been a couple months since then and another 2000 miles on odometer. Just checked and now it says in 2500 miles...

So apparently my brake linings are getting thicker? At this rate, I have a feeling I'm not going to get that service in under warranty...oh well. Brake fluid and another oil change will be covered. But those are some miraculous brake linings...anyone else with similar experience?
