it doesnt matter what your situation is, the cars are treated the same no matter if you have already retired and you are just buying it for your son as his car or if you have been saving up for it for 35 years, you dont get special treatment just because it is worth proportionally more to YOU, it still worth 31-48k to BMW ( dont mean to sound mean or crass, sorry)
